Saffre Twinning Organisation
The association is a group of people who have come together to form a close friendship with the people of Saffre in the Loire region of France. For further information please see:

Winterton Bowls and Recreation Club
The club promote the game of bowls in Winterton and surrounding areas and play in competitions. Bowling is held on Churchfields each day from April-September. Play reverts to Indoor Bowls Centre in winter. Short mat bowls available. Tuition. Fundraising Tuesdays at Jubilee Club – Whist Drive at 7.45pm.

Winterton Disabled Club
The club provides social activities for all with a physical disability.

Gardening Groups

Open Gardens of Winterton
Winterton Open Gardens is held over a weekend each July. There are usually around 20 gardens open. The fee was £3 per adult for the weekend in 2016, accompanied under 18’s free. Plant sales take place at some gardens and the church – all proceed to the church.

Meet on the first Thursday each month at 7.30 at the Cross Keys.

Winterton Agricultural Society
Formed in 1872 to further the interests of a rapidly modernising agricultural community. The main focus is the Winterton Show, which occupies over 20 acres of land at Town End (Holmes Lane), which the society owns to accommodate the growing demand for trade stands, sideshows, entertainment and car parking.
This growth allows other organisations to hold events throughout the year on what has become a superb well equipped showground.
