Following the hugely successful Winterton Sculpture Trail a selection of sculptures will be auctioned for local causes.

Twenty Six Tractor and Owl sculptures have been on display in Winterton this summer (until 14th September) with visitors from all over the country flocking to the North Lincolnshire Town to see the artwork.

The sculptures were designed and created by community groups and organisations in the town in a series of workshops with local artists Fiona Caley and Mandy Keating, creating the sculptures to a very high standard.

The sculptures are made out of fibre glass. Measuring: Owl (at the widest points, approx.) height: 93cm, width 56cm, depth 52cm. Tractors, (approx at largest points): Length: 155cm, Height: 77cm, Width: 88cm

Twelve of the sculptures are to be auctioned, eleven tractors one owl, and the original wooden mould used to create the tractor sculptures. The remaining fourteen sculptures will be kept by the groups that created them. Thanks to Gilbert Baitson Auctioneers and Valuers, Hull, who are conduction to auction free of charge, all of the funds raised from the sale will be equally split between the  Winterton Junior School Friends and Parents Group, Winterton Youth Club, and Winterton Disabled Club following a vote by residents on Facebook.
